In the pursuit of becoming a professional direct seller with QNET, it’s essential to adhere to fundamental principles that uphold integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct. These four QNET Red Lines serve as rules to guide distributors towards sustainable success while safeguarding the direct selling community and the company.

Contents
Do Not Cross These QNET Red Lines1. Failing to inform at the outset or otherwise deceiving or misleading prospects or IDs in relation to QNET2. Violation of applicable laws and/or QNET Policies and Procedures3. Registration of any prospect who does not have legal capacity to enter a valid contract4. Misrepresentation or defamation of QNET’s name, business, products, policies, procedures, employees and /or pretending to be a QNET employee

The QNET Red Lines are easy to follow and a sure-fire way to find success with QNET. If you want to build a strong foundation for your direct selling business so that you leave behind a legacy you can be proud of, this is for you.

Do Not Cross These QNET Red Lines

1. Failing to inform at the outset or otherwise deceiving or misleading prospects or IDs in relation to QNET

Honesty is the best policy. There’s a very good reason this centuries-old saying continues to ring true. It’s crucial to gain people’s trust for them to want to join and support your business, and you can’t do that if you fail to be honest from the start. If you cross this Red Line, aside from harming QNET’s reputation, you will also be seen as a liar and chances are people would never want to work with you again. So, always provide clear and accurate information about QNET’s products, compensation plan, and business practices to your prospects and referrals.

Some examples of this Red Line:

  • Lying about the QNET Compensation Plan by pretending it equates to a regular salary or exaggerating potential earnings.
  • Manipulating the QNET registration process by requesting unnecessary information, advanced fees, or adding extra steps.
  • Buying products using a downline’s name without their knowledge or consent.

QNET Distributors are encouraged to attend our free training to ensure that they are practising and sharing professional business practices at all times. We also have the QNETPRO Online Certification programme and official marketing materials in the Learning Lab found in the QNET Mobile App.

2. Violation of applicable laws and/or QNET Policies and Procedures

In doing business or anything in your life, for that matter, you must NEVER break the law. Laws are there to create a safe, fair, and efficient environment for individuals, businesses, and society.  Likewise, QNET’s Policies and Procedures serve as guidelines to make sure everyone does the business the right way. If you want to make sure your business lasts, you must always be aware of these rules and follow them.

Some examples of this Red Line:

  • Establishing an unauthorised ID office goes against the law and QNET’s rules. Please refer to the official list of QNET offices on our website.
  • Confiscating personal documents or phones of prospects, particularly identification such as passports and national IDs.
  • Forcing or coercing prospects to sign up or purchase products by threatening harm or punishment, using intimidation, and other deceptive tactics can make you liable for extortion, which is a serious crime.

3. Registration of any prospect who does not have legal capacity to enter a valid contract

While direct selling does not discriminate and is open to people from all walks of life, it does not mean that absolutely anyone can register as a direct seller – only those who are legally able may do so. Entering QNET as a direct seller must be completely voluntary and involve informed decision-making. Those who cannot fully understand the financial, legal, or personal risks involved in doing business should not be made to sign into one.

Some examples of this Red Line:

  • Registering a minor (typically under 18) into direct selling directly violates most legal frameworks, as minors lack the legal capacity to enter binding contracts.
  • Individuals declared mentally incompetent by a court also lack the legal capacity to enter contracts. Thus, registering them would be illegal and unethical.

4. Misrepresentation or defamation of QNET’s name, business, products, policies, procedures, employees and /or pretending to be a QNET employee

It’s up to all Independent Distributors to keep the QNET brand strong and respected. Remember, this is your business, too, so you must make sure to maintain QNET’s good name by always working professionally and responsibly.

Some examples of this Red Line:

  • Abusing the name of QNET by impersonating QNET employees or misleading others about affiliation with the company for any reason.
  • Spreading malicious statements against QNET or any person/platform connected to the QNET brand to the media or on social media.
  • Cheating prospects or downlines by providing false promises (such as employment, college admission, or travel abroad) or misleading information to manipulate them into joining or making purchases.

We are committed to helping you build a life-long business that you and your family will take pride in. To do this, we need your support in complying with the rules. If you notice any ID acting in a manner that crosses these Red Lines, please contact the Network Integrity Department (NID) by sending an email to [email protected] or a Whatsapp message to +233 25 663 0005.

By adhering to these core principles, QNET distributors not only uphold the values of professionalism and integrity but also contribute to the sustainable growth and prosperity of the direct selling community. Let’s embrace these QNET Red Lines as guiding beacons on our journey towards ethical and successful direct selling.
