QNET on GTV: Addressing Scams and Showcasing V-Africa’s Economic Impact

Trevor Kuna and Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa Biram Fall appeared on GTV, the country’s national broadcaster. As Ghana’s most authoritative and widely followed channel, GTV provided an important platform for QNET to clarify misconceptions, highlight its business model, and reinforce its commitment to ethical entrepreneurship.

During the discussion, Trevor Kuna addressed the widespread issue of financial scams and how QNET is actively working to distinguish itself from fraudulent schemes. “The scams don’t stop at mobile money or banking—almost everything is being targeted. First of all, we are a 26-year-old e-commerce direct-selling company offering some of the best products in the industry. We’re here today to help educate the public and empower them with the right information so they can distinguish between pyramid schemes, financial scams, predatory lending, and legitimate direct selling opportunities like QNET.”

He emphasised that QNET is not about recruitment but about product sales, a crucial distinction from pyramid schemes. The conversation also highlighted QNET’s proactive measures against misinformation. Biram Fall shared that fake websites and social media scams continue to be a challenge, but QNET has launched strict policies, ongoing distributor training, and legal action against fraudulent actors. “Like any industry, 2-3% of distributors globally misuse the opportunity and misrepresent our business. That’s why we are actively educating the public about who we truly are and what we don’t do. We are a direct selling company, not a scam.”

Biram Fall further elaborated on QNET’s expanding footprint in Africa, highlighting the wide range of high-quality wellness and lifestyle products available through the company’s platform. “We offer over 600 products, including wellness, well-being, jewellery, and watches. Some of our best-selling products, like Edg3 Plus, are making a huge impact. The feedback has been amazing!”

Trevor closed the discussion by celebrating the success of V-Africa 2025 and touching on the economic impact of V-Africa 2025, particularly the collaboration with Ghana Tourism Authority. Trevor shared how 4,000 attendees from across Africa and beyond participated in Ghana’s largest direct-selling event yet.

With growing demand, Trevor revealed plans to expand the event’s scale for 2026, reinforcing Ghana’s position as a thriving hub for entrepreneurship. “The Ghana Tourism Authority was impressed with the economic boost we brought. Our only challenge now is finding a bigger venue for next year’s event, where we plan to double attendance to 8,000-10,000 people.”

QNET on Starr 103.5 FM: Reaching Ghana’s Leading Radio Audience

QNET participated in an engaging interview at Starr 103.5 FM, one of Ghana’s leading radio stations known for its influential programming and wide listener base. While there, CMO Trevor Kuna emphasised the significance of hosting V-Africa 2025 in Ghana and the opportunities QNET offers aspiring entrepreneurs. He noted that the event served as a platform for individuals to gain essential business skills, connect with industry leaders, and explore QNET’s range of wellness and lifestyle products.

Trevor remarked, “This is something Africa hasn’t seen in a long time, especially in Accra, Ghana. We are bringing what is called the V Convention, traditionally held in Malaysia with around 15-20 thousand of our distributors attending. But now, we are welcoming all our brothers and sisters from across Africa to this incredible event.”

Highlighting QNET’s unique approach to direct selling, Trevor explained how QNET offers individuals an accessible path to entrepreneurship. He stated, “We provide the products, the platform, and the training. With the right knowledge, people can earn from selling our products and building a sales force.” This emphasis on comprehensive training and community support aligns with QNET’s mission to empower individuals to achieve long-term success.

He also underscored the importance of community and mentorship in QNET’s business model: “Unlike solo entrepreneurship, where people often struggle, we hold your hand from day one until you’re on stage sharing your success story.”

QNET on GHOne TV: Showcasing Entrepreneurship on one of Ghana’s Leading TV Network

Trevor also appeared on GHOne TV, one of Ghana’s most popular television networks, renowned for its engaging news coverage and insightful programming. During an interview on GHOne’s morning show, he addressed common misconceptions surrounding QNET and the direct selling industry.

During the discussion, he clarified that QNET is not a get-rich-quick scheme. “If anyone tells you otherwise, that you can get rich quick with QNET or make money by investing in QNET, that’s not what we do. What we offer is fantastic products, a business opportunity, and extensive training to help you get started.” This statement emphasised that QNET’s model revolves around selling high-quality products and earning commissions through sales, with success stemming from dedication and persistence.

The interview also highlighted measures taken by QNET to combat misrepresentation, particularly in Ghana. He explained, “To combat misrepresentation, we’ve established a hotline in Ghana for reporting suspicious activities involving QNET. We’ve prosecuted 42 individuals in the region for misrepresenting the company and launched campaigns like the Mama Campaign, QNET Against Scams, and Say No Campaign to educate the public on spotting scams and identifying legitimate QNET representatives.” These initiatives demonstrate QNET’s commitment to maintaining transparency and protecting its reputation.

To help the public identify genuine QNET representatives, he advised, “Anyone approached by someone claiming to represent QNET should ask for their ID number, which can be verified on our website to ensure authenticity.” This guidance aims to help individuals distinguish between legitimate business opportunities and scams, reinforcing QNET’s dedication to ethical business practices.
