QNET, a global lifestyle and wellness company, strongly condemns two recent fraudulent incidents in Senegal in which bad actors misused its name to deceive unsuspecting individuals.
On 29 August 2025, six individuals were arrested in Keur Mbaye Fall for allegedly conducting scams under the guise of QNET. More recently, on 4 September, authorities dismantled a fraudulent network calling itself “Qnet Infinity Millennials” in Niacoulrap, which exploited foreign nationals with fake job offers. In this case, 20 victims from Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, and Benin were rescued, while the perpetrators fled.
QNET emphasizes that none of the arrested or implicated individuals are employees of the company. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether they had any prior connection as customers or Independent Distributors. Regardless of the findings, QNET reiterates that it does not offer jobs, visas, or guaranteed income in exchange for payments. Such claims are false and fraudulent.
“We are aware of scams being carried out under QNET’s name, and we work closely with Senegalese authorities to ensure offenders are brought to justice. Our company follows strict compliance standards and enforces a zero-tolerance policy against fraud or misrepresentation,” said Biram Fall, Regional General Manager of QNET Sub-Saharan Africa.
QNET operates on the globally recognized direct selling model, where Independent Distributors voluntarily purchase and promote certified lifestyle and wellness products through legitimate channels.
To protect the public, QNET has launched the “QNET Against Scams” campaign in Senegal and across West Africa, raising awareness about fraudulent schemes falsely using its identity. The company continues to work with law enforcement and urges the public to report suspicious activities through its official Compliance Hotline via WhatsApp +233 2566 30005 or email [email protected].
QNET also enforces internal discipline to ensure compliance. In 2024, 298 actions were taken against individuals misrepresenting the business (210 suspensions and 88 terminations).
In 2025 so far, 34 complaints have been lodged against individuals misusing the company’s name across Sub-Saharan Africa, mainly in West Africa.
QNET urges the public to remain vigilant, verify the authenticity of any opportunity claiming affiliation with the company, and rely only on information provided through its official platforms: africa.qnet.net
