QNET strongly denies any involvement in two cases of alleged kidnapping of 45 individuals and another set of 28 people reportedly found during a so-called “training course” in Mbour, Senegal. Contrary to media reports, QNET is not conducting any official training in Mbour and does not engage in or endorse so-called “recruitment” activities of any kind.
QNET operates strictly within the laws of Senegal and does not organize, tolerate, or associate with any form of illegal gatherings, forced confinement, or deceptive practices. The individuals linked to this incident were not authorised representatives of QNET and acted independently.
“We are aware of individuals who misuse QNET’s name to organise unauthorised meetings and mislead vulnerable people. As a responsible business, we conduct all our training activities for Independent Representatives in transparent, accessible public venues with clearly defined objectives,” said Biram Fall, Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa. “The incidents in Mbour were not organised by QNET. We condemn in the strongest terms the criminal misuse of our brand and we work with the relevant authorities to hold these criminals accountable.”
QNET does not offer employment in exchange for payments, visas, or travel sponsorships. Any such claims made in our name are fraudulent. Our business model is based on direct selling, with product purchases and participation done voluntarily through official channels only.
To protect the public from impersonators, QNET launched the “QNET Against Scams” campaign in Senegal to raise awareness about fraud schemes that falsely use our identity. We continue to work closely with local authorities and encourage the public to report suspicious activities via:
- WhatsApp: +233 2566 30005
- Email: [email protected]
In addition, QNET enforces a zero-tolerance policy against unethical behavior. In 2024, we took 298 disciplinary actions against individuals misrepresenting our business (210 suspensions and 88 terminations). In 2025, 81 actions have already been taken across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
We urge the public to remain vigilant and always verify the legitimacy of any opportunity claiming affiliation with QNET. For official updates and information, please visit: africa.qnet.net
