QNET takes pride in being a lifestyle and wellness company dedicated to empowering micro-entrepreneurs through our diverse range of exclusive products and business opportunities for the past 26 years. We’ve spent years building trust and fostering growth in Ghana through product exhibitions in different parts of Ghana to create awareness about the unique products and business model, community and stakeholder engagement by participating in various trade fairs and the ANOPA project, advocacy for disability inclusion that is sponsored by RYTHM but recently, we’ve noticed an alarming rise in misinformation and fraudulent activities misusing our brand name. This is why it is important for us to tackle the issue head-on.

The QNET Against Scams Campaign

The “QNET Against Scams” campaign isn’t just another corporate initiative—it’s a vital response to a growing problem we’re seeing in Ghana. Over the years, some unauthorised individuals have been using QNET’s name to scam innocent people, promising them jobs or travel opportunities abroad in exchange for money. These actions not only harm the victims but damage the reputation and legacy we’ve worked so hard to build.

Despite our best efforts to maintain transparency and keep the public informed, these misconceptions and fraudulent activities persist. This campaign is our way of taking a firm stand against these scams, ensuring that people understand who we really are and what we truly stand for.

What We’re Doing About It

We are currently rolling out an intensive public education campaign across Ghana. This campaign will reach out to everyone—from Greater Accra to Ashanti, Eastern, Western, Ahafo, Volta, Northern, and Bono regions—through TV, radio, online news portals, social media, print media, and even billboards. Our goal is to make sure every Ghanaian knows how to identify and avoid scams that misuse our name.

But we’re not stopping at just raising awareness. We’re also working closely with law enforcement and government agencies to bring those who misuse our brand to justice. Fraudulent activities have no place in QNET, and we’re committed to ensuring that anyone who engages in such behaviour is held accountable.

Campaign Objectives and Strategies

The “QNET Against Scams” campaign has outlined four primary objectives:

  1. Raise Public Awareness: Inform the public about QNET’s legitimate business operations.
  2. Educate on Scam Identification: Help individuals identify and avoid scams that misrepresent QNET.
  3. Collaborate for Prosecution: Work with law enforcement and government agencies to prosecute offenders.
  4. Reinforce Transparency: Demonstrate QNET’s commitment to transparency and ethical business practices.

The launch

The campaign was launched on the 7th of August at the QNET Training Centre, operated by Bosumtwi Industries Limited, QNET’s local business partner in Ghana.

The event featured QNET demonstrations by our product trainers, media sessions addressed by QI Group Chief Communications Officer and Q&A sessions by the media.

Quotable Quotes from the Campaign

Ms. Ramya Chandrasekaran, Chief Communications Officer for the QI Group, QNET’s parent company, emphasised the campaign’s importance – “Despite our ongoing efforts, misconceptions about QNET persist in Ghana. Unauthorised individuals have been exploiting our brand name for illegal activities, deceiving people with false promises of jobs or travel opportunities abroad. Our campaign aims to combat this issue through public education aggressively.”

Col. Rashid Salifu, Managing Director of Bosumtwi Industries, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the need for collective action – “We must unite to fight against scammers who are defrauding innocent Ghanaians. Awareness is our most powerful tool in this battle.”

How You Can Help

We can’t do this alone—we need your help. If you come across any suspicious activities that falsely claim to be associated with QNET, please report them immediately. You can reach out to us via our compliance hotline on WhatsApp at +233 256 630 005 or by emailing us at [email protected]. Public vigilance and cooperation are crucial in helping us maintain the integrity of our brand and protecting others from falling victim to scams.

Empowerment, Not Exploitation

QNET has always been about empowerment. Exploitation has no place in this business. We’re proud of the positive impact we’ve had on countless lives, both in Ghana and around the world. With the “QNET Against Scams” campaign, we’re fighting back against fraud and brand misrepresentation, ensuring that our name remains synonymous with trust, quality, and opportunity.

Thank you for standing with us in this fight. Together, we can make a difference and continue to empower individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
