QNET has been made aware of the publication by dakaractu.com falsely suggesting that the company is linked to the case of the 24 arrested individuals which include some Guineans, Gambians and Senegalese in the Liberté 1 District. QNET dissociates itself from the purported activities of the arrest persons and cautions against the inaccurate and malicious description of the company as a human-trafficking network. While we commend the efforts of the police and continue to seek ways to collaborate with security and regulatory agencies, we take this opportunity to clarify our stance, QNET’s business model and explain actions we are taking to fight the misrepresentation.

QNET has initiated a WhatsApp Compliance Hotline (+233256630005) since 1 September 2023 to combat misuse of its name by reporting unethical activities in Sub-Saharan Africa, including countries like Senegal, Ghana, and Nigeria, supporting both French and English speakers. Concurrently, QNET is leading the Say No Campaign in Senegal, aimed at educating communities about the dangers of fraudulent job offers that lead to human trafficking, involving radio commercials, mounted billboards in French and Wolof in Dakar, Saint Louis, Mbour and Thies, and leveraging our social media and YouTube channel to disseminate campaign materials.
