The story alleges that an individual named Alie Mohammed Conteh who is being charged for conspiracy to defraud and obtaining of money by false pretence, is an employee of QNET. This claim is completely false and without basis.
QNET does not have any employees in Sierra Leone and is not associated with the individual in question. QNET has been made aware of the misuse of its brand name by unscrupulous individuals for illegal activities and we strongly condemn such actions.
QNET wishes to clearly state that it has no involvement whatsoever in these reprehensible actions and strongly condemns the unauthorised use of its brand name by dishonest individuals or group.
